Haunting Image on Photo, Young girl appears in photo (8 Replies, Read 304 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	Hi everyone, i am new to this site, i've only recently joined as a result of goings on in the basement at work. For some weeks now we have had one, and only one of our movement sensors in the basement activate between 9.30pm and 10pm. We have replaced the sensor thinking it was faulty with no change. We have had rodent experts in to bait potential rodents. It has been explained to us that rodents would in-advertantly set off more than one sensor at a time, but again only the one section of the basement is effected. After having a laugh with a co-worker suggesting the basement was haunted, i ventured down their and took some photo's with our Samsung Digital Camera. To my shock, when i uploaded the images one of them clearly showed the head of a young girl looking over at me. Her eyes are filled black pits and her mouth is open. The image clearly shows her hair being either brown or reddish in color. As you can imagine i was quite shocked. I would prefer to have the image looked at one on one rather than have it spread all over the internet, so if anyone would kindly like to offer their opinion i would appreciate it.

Hi Chickenhawk And welcome to the forum :) Yes those sensor lights are tricky sometimes and can be set off by all manner of things including as you said rodents. We have one at the Gaol that often is set off by those large moths fluttering around, and it has caught me out more then once when conducting tours or investigating lol. It would be strange though that it is only one sensor light and only at a certain time. Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	The building is over 150 years old in Port Adelaide, one of the old wool stores. My assistant manager has reported hearing a persistant knocking coming from under our office but i have not heard it.

She has indicated that there is infact something in the photo that is not a trick of light nor has it been tampered with. Now that i have had it verified, i am happy to forward it on to anyone who would like to review it. The file is 3mb and is too large to up-load with this post. Thanks for sharing this one Chickenhawk, sorry I haven't responded but been flat out leading up to the weekend so only just got to the forum. It is an interesting photo. I am assuming the figure you mention is the pinkish one on the 2nd pillar in? It certainly does look like a face when zoomed in, however would you be willing to take another photo down there in better lighting of the same pillar and then another in the same lighting? Just to make sure it wasn't a natural object causing a trick of light or pareidolia?
