Tonight  29th Feb on SBS at 7.30 p.m. is the program Lost Worlds, which tonight features the Tunguska Explosion in 1908.  Here is the write up from TVGuide:

At 7:17am, 30 June, 1908, the largest explosion recorded in human
history to date reverberated throughout our planet. What caused it? An
asteroid? A UFO crash? To this day, internationally renowned scientists
of various disciplines argue about the causes of this disastrous
explosion. This documentary looks at the latest and most controversial
insights of these leading scientists.

Could make for a good follow up chat here on it??? :)
